it all depends on what you join dark. im leader of the empire and im choosing to hand pick people based on what they've done in the game and how skilled they are. mandalore is leader of the rebels (obviously) and you'll have to ask him how he does his stuff. mginshe is leader of the mercs and he does stuff his own way too

Jedi applications? No all professions are earned to become a jedi you have to do the following
- Become force sensitive (am not releasing how to become it) - Complete "The Village" - Complete "The Padawan Trials" - Once the padawan trials are complete you become a jedi but you can still train by doing raids hunting monsters doing quests etc to even become a jedi master! - Jedis can be hunted by bounty hunters
